Jaime Spencer, MS, OTR/L
Jaime Spencer is a dedicated school-based Occupational Therapist in Long Island, NY. She’s the driving force behind “Miss Jaime, O.T.,” a global platform empowering educators and parents to make learning fun and accessible for kids. As an entrepreneur, author, and advocate, Jaime is also a vital member of New York’s Occupational Therapy State Board. With a Master’s in Special Education and a Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy, Jaime is a true leader in her field.

Abigail Long, M.S. Ed., CCC-SLP/L
Abby joins us from Brooklyn, NY, where she is a relatively seasoned speech-language pathologist, with 10 years under her belt, currently working in a mix of both the private practice setting as well as the school-based setting. Though she doesn’t play favorites, she has truly come to enjoy and love her Brooklyn school-based setting, serving a wide variety of ages from preschool through fifth grade. She finds the collaborative aspect in the school setting to be extremely rewarding, and has always placed emphasis on a team approach for carryover and consistency.

Claire Heffron, MS, OTR/L and Lauren Drobnjak, PT
Claire Heffron and Lauren Drobnjak are practicing pediatric occupational and physical therapists near Cleveland, Ohio. They run the popular online resource, The Inspired Treehouse as well as a non-profit organization that delivers inclusive play group programs for children of all abilities.

Chanda Jothen, PT, DPT
Chanda Jothen is a former school-based physical therapist with extensive experience working with children from birth to age 21. She is the founder of Pink Oatmeal, a website dedicated to creating engaging resources that make developing motor skills fun and effective for therapists, parents, and teachers. Through her innovative activities and tools, Chanda empowers others to support children’s motor development in playful and meaningful ways.

Kim Wiggins, OTR/L
Kim Wiggins, OTR/L, is an experienced pediatric occupational therapist with over 20 years in school-based, outpatient, and home settings. She currently works full-time in an upstate NY school district and owns OTKimWiggins LLC, providing educational resources for parents and professionals. A sought-after speaker for 15 years, Kim has presented nationally and internationally and co-authored Just Right! A Sensory Modulation Curriculum for K-5.

Tera Sumpter, M.A., CCC-SLP
Tera Sumpter, M.A., CCC-SLP is the author of the international bestselling book, The Seeds of Learning, an international presenter, a speech-language pathologist specializing in executive function, and a private practice owner. Tera founded and runs an international education network for parents and professionals who want to learn more about executive function and ways to support its development in childhood learning.

Jency Chacko, M.S., CCC-SLP
I have a niche practice (Playhouse Speech Therapy) where I primarily work with ADHD and Autistic children. I also have a separate business (Vivid Embers) where I provide consulting, workshops, and resources that empower families and therapists to help neurodivergent children foster confidence in communication, independence, and meaningful relationships—helping every child thrive in their own unique way.

Amy Basso, M.A., CCC/SLP
Amy Basso has been a school-based SLP for 22 years. For the last 17 years, she has worked in the NYC Public Schools in the Bronx. Amy has supervised 20 graduate student interns and 15 clinical fellows. She specializes in early language skills, assistive technology, and data collection. Amy believes in working smarter, not harder; because being a school-based SLP is a busy job with lots of responsibilities!

Lori Flynn, OTR/L, ADHD-RSP
Lori Flynn is a practicing school-based occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience and the founder of OT4ADHD, a platform dedicated to supporting students with ADHD through professional development and actionable classroom strategies. She specializes in helping misunderstood learners succeed by shifting the focus from “trying harder” to trying differently.

Casey Harrison, LDT, C-SLDS, CALT
Casey Harrison, founder of The Dyslexia Classroom and Wimberley Dyslexia and Learning Center, is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and Licensed Dyslexia Therapist with over 27 years of experience. She provides dyslexia therapy, literacy instruction, consultations, and training while advocating for students, parents, and educators. A national presenter and creative designer in dyslexia outreach, she serves on the National Board of ALTA, co-hosts the Together in Literacy podcast, and authored Teaching Beyond the Diagnosis – Empowering Students with Dyslexia, emphasizing the connection between academics and emotional well-being.

Amy Zembriski, M.S., CCC-SLP
Amy is a certified speech language pathologist who is the owner of Speech Therapy Connections LLC where she specializes in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and gestalt language processing, Amy offers expert support for families with autistic children. Her passion lies in educating and empowering both professionals and families through neurodiversity-affirming practices.

Maureen Wilson, M.S., CCC-SLP
Maureen Wilson has been a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for nearly two decades. She has worked children ages 3-11 with variety of needs and disorders from Emotional Disabilities, Language Disorders, to complex communication needs that require AAC. Maureen’s passion stems from her love of literacy and data and helping to empower other SLPs by teaching them to harness these tools to have more meaningful and effective therapy. She is the author of the blog and TpT store, The Speech Bubble SLP as well as the creator of Swivel Scheduler, a data collection and therapy planning tool for school-based SLPs. She has enthusiastically spoken at ASHA, several state conventions, and collegiate events to help others develop their skills and feel confident in their abilities.
